ICI Partenaire Entreprises is searching for ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY (ITA) :
DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB AND RELATED TASKS:
The position of Trade Analyst must be carried out according to the instructions of the ITA Director of Accra.
The Trade Analyst will support Italian Trade Commission – Accra Office mainly to assist Italian companies:
- Monitoring and reporting about business opportunities in West Africa markets;
- Providing information, support and advice to Italian companies interested in developing their business in West Africa market, and vice versa;
- Organizing b2b meetings, market research, technical assistance, but not only.
The activities of the Trade Analyst will include, among others, the following:
- Developing a network with local Institutions, Industrial associations, Private companies; particularly in priority sectors (agribusiness, building and construction, manufacturing etc.);
- Prepare reports on the local economy and specific industries, identify and connect with key players;
- Provide commercial and technical information, information on customs duties and local standards (licences, registrations, etc..), statistics and foreign trade;
- Organize trade delegations to Italy, at main trade shows or other events. On some occasion the Trade Analyst may accompany the delegations.
- Organize and coordinate trade shows or other promotional events such as seminars, workshops, meetings, missions and political delegations to/from Italy;
- Facilitate and respond to inquiries of Italian & local companies;
- Secretarial tasks related to the management of the Office;
- Provide support to the Accra Italian Trade Agency Office in relation to other tasks appropriately assigned by the Director.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor degree in business management;
- At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position;
- Have a good knowledge of the commercial sector;
- Experience in the agri-food, building or construction industry would be an asset;
- Have a perfect knowledge of the Burkinabe market and international corridors;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Italian and English;
- Good knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques;
- Good leadership skills;
- Have a sense of control;
- Be methodical and rigorous;
- Have a sense of initiative;
- Have integrity.
